The Buffalo Bills announced on Friday that former Clemson standout wide receiver Sammy Watkins will be placed on the injured reserve.

Watkins played in only two games with six catches for 63 yards this season.

He had 44 receptions for 827 yards and nine touchdowns last season. For his career, he has 125 catches for 2,029 yards and fifteen scores.
