Many experts believed that McDaniel would be drafted around the third round but instead he went undrafted.

He has been working out with a personal trainer in Tallahassee, Florida while he waited on the lockout to end and his new NFL team.

McDaniel had 296 tackles, 20 pass breakups, 18 1/2 tackles for loss, and 15 INTs in his college career.
