The Vikings have signed former Clemson standouts Mackensie Alexander and Jayron Kearse on Wednesday according to the Pioneer Press.

Alexander will receive a four-year, $4.3 million contract with a $1.34 million signing bonus.

He did not give up a touchdown to the receiver he was assigned to cover over his last 23 games. He was a second-team All-American and first-team All-ACC in 2015.

The Tigers with Alexander were the number two defense in the country in passes completed holding opponents to 47.6 completion percentage. In 638 snaps this past season, QBs completed only 11 passes vs. Alexander and he also had 23 tackles and two tackles for loss.

Kearse will get a four-year, $2.4 million contract with a signing bonus of $64,224.

In 2015, Kearse was a first-team All-American by ESPN and second-team Associated Press All-American with 62 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one interception and six pass breakups.

Both players will reportedly sign on Thursday and begin Vikings' minicamp on Friday through Sunday.
