Report: Texans agree to terms with D.J. Reader

The Houston Texans have reached a deal with former Clemson defensive tackle D.J. Reader on Thursday according to the Houston Chronicle.

Reader will receive a four-year, $2.55 million contract that includes a $215,380 signing bonus. He was drafted in the fifth round (#169 overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft.

After returning to the Clemson team in October 2015, Reader had 13 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in nine games.

As a junior, Reader had 27 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks and as a sophomore, he had 43 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks.
