and inside linebacker Joe Mays are visiting the San Diego Chargers on Thursday according to multiple reports.

Hairston is a restricted free agent and brings load of versatility and starting experience to a prospective new NFL team.

The 25-year old offensive tackle only saw 38 total snaps in 2014 (played all 16 games as a reserve) after missing the entire 2013 season on the reserve-non-football injury list. In 2012, he was placed on IR and had subsequent surgery to remove some loose pieces of bone.

He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in Round 4 of the 2011 NFL Draft and was part of the 2011 draft-day trade (and LB Tank Cardner) that took star running back Marshawn Lynch from Buffalo to Seattle.

It appears with the following tweet that sunny San Diego might be more to Hairston's liking weather-wise than snowy Buffalo.
