has agreed to a $160K deal with the Washington Nationals according to the senior writer of MLB.com.

Crownover was selected in the six round (194th overall) last week by the Washington Nationals.

He was 10-3 with a 1.82 ERA with 108 strikeouts in 16 starts this season.

Official Clemson Bio - Lefthander who is not overpowering, but uses his control to be effective ... his fastball improved from 2013 to 2014 after fully recovering from “Tommy John” surgery in March 2012 ... was in the weekend rotation during all of 2014 ... will be counted on at the top of the weekend rotation in 2015 ... in 169.1 innings pitched over 32 appearances (30 starts) and two seasons, he has a 15-9 record and 2.60 ERA while allowing 158 hits (.250 opponents’ batting average) and 37 walks with 135 strikeouts ... third in Tiger history in walks per nine innings pitched (1.97), fourth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.65) and ninth in ERA ... has a 2.01 ERA in 103.0 innings pitched in 17 starts in ACC regular-season games in his career ... two-time All-ACC Academic selection ... two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member ... team co-captain for 2015.
