Report: Clemson-UGA to play home-and-home in basketball |
Georgia has lined up a two-game series against Clemson in basketball starting in 2015 and in 2016.
The first Clemson-UGA game will be in Athens on Dec. 22, 2015 and the second game does not have a date yet. According to the Athens Banner-Herald, the contract has been signed last Friday by the Georgia athletic director but still needs to be signed on Clemson's behalf as of Wednesday. The last time both team's played in basketball, Clemson won 75-60 in 2006. Clemson is 3-0 against the SEC this year with wins over LSU, Arkansas and Auburn. Clemson will also play rival and SEC foe South Carolina (in Columbia) on Friday at 7 PM EST.
