* Swinney is also optimistic freshman WR T.J. Green will get back on the field soon after his hyper extended knee last week.

* CBS Sports' Tony Barnhart watched the Tigers practice this morning.

* Travis Blanks said if the season started today he and Robert Smith would be the starters at safety.

* The Tigers will practice again later this evening but there will be no media access during or after practice.
