Pollack: "Clemson's offense is on another level"

by - Assoc. Editor -

ESPN college football analyst David Pollack said during the College Football Playoff Selection show that Ohio State needs to watch out for Deshaun Watson in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl.

"Clemson's offense is on another level," Pollack said. "Deshaun Watson is playing ridiculous with 11 touchdowns the last two games. He's been here, he's done that. He's got everything he needs. That guy's going to get his so in the end, do you trust J.T. Barrett? Can J.T. Barrett and company score 30 with the offensive line. Can he take advantage of the secondary? That's going to be the issue for me."

Watson passed for 23-for-34 for 288 yards, three passing touchdowns and an interception to lead Clemson to the 2016 ACC Championship in a 42-35 win over Virginia Tech. He also rushed 17 times for 85 yards and two scores.

The latest Vegas projection has Ohio State as a three-point favorite against Clemson in the playoff matchup.
