ESPN analyst and college football commentator Kirk Herbstreit was in Clemson on Friday to check out football practice, spend some with Dabo Swinney, and scout the Tigers for the upcoming season.
Herbstreit was at Clemson's practice and came away impressed by junior quarterback Deshaun Watson. "And wow does @DeshaunWatson4 look good," Herbstreit tweeted. "15 lbs stronger and as accurate as ever!!" Herbstreit predicted recently that Clemson will win the national championship this season. "I’m going to have Clemson, who I think’s going to go on to win the championship," Herbstreit said on ESPN radio. "That has everything to do with one guy. I hate to put it all on him, but Deshaun Watson, to me, is just a freak." Great visit today at Clemson!! Thanks to @ClemsonFB @ClemsonPrez and @ThadClemson for their hospitality. pic.twitter.com/fepTLV5DO6 And wow does @DeshaunWatson4 look good!! 15 lbs stronger and as accurate as ever!! #Uncommon #Natural pic.twitter.com/IWTVoNCh5D Beanie bowl was great today!
