Former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was on SMU's campus for a workout with the football players on Monday morning. SMU wide receiver Courtland Sutton posted the following on his Instagram account.

"Got some great work today with my boys and the National Champion QB," Sutton wrote.

Former Clemson offensive coordinator and SMU head coach Chad Morris was the main recruiter for Watson and they still keep in contact with each other.

In 2016, Watson completed 388 passes out of 579 attempts for 4593 yards and 41 passing touchdowns with 17 interceptions (and his degree) for an adjusted QBR of 84.9.
