the first of three Orange & Purple scrimmages to conclude fall practice, the Orange squad rallied from an 11-8 deficit with five runs in the eighth inning to top the Purple team 13-11 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Thursday. The final two scrimmages are Friday (seven innings) at 4 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Fluor Field in Greenville, S.C.

Alex Eubanks earned the win in 3.0 innings pitched in relief, while Paul Campbell pitched a perfect ninth inning to record the save.
