OSU QB on losing to Clemson: "I know what happened" |
Clemson dominated and manhandled Ohio State 31-0 in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl back in the College Football Playoff semifinal round.
The Buckeyes were a three-point favorite against the eventual National Champions in Clemson but were laughed off the national stage as a hungry Tiger team won it all phases of the game. "I know what happened," Ohio State quarterback Barrett said about the Clemson loss via CBSSports.com. "That’s something that I’m not going to talk about. I’m not going to talk about it right now, but I know what happened. We do as far as (players and) coaches and that’s a conversation I had with Coach Meyer, so that’s a closed circle type of thing." Barrett went 19-for-33 with 127 passing yards and two interceptions during the game. Throw in his 11 rushes for -2 yards and this performance was as one-sided in any matchup in playoff history.
