Nuk Hopkins predicts Clemson win over Bama

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson receiver DeAndre Hopkins is predicting Clemson will win its second national title on Monday night.

"Clemson is going to win 34-21," Hopkins told the Houston Chronicle on Thursday. "Because of players like Deshaun Watson, Mike Williams, Deon Cain, Ben Boulware and Cordrea Tankersley."

Hopkins, a former first-round NFL draft pick by the Houston Texans, thinks Clemson has the players to take the title away from Alabama.

"Man, they've got some talent at Clemson," Hopkins said. "They've got a great lineup. Clemson's going to win their second national championship."

Hopkins had 206 catches for 3,020 yards with 27 touchdowns in his Clemson career.
