Nuk Hopkins' injury update

by - Assoc. Editor -

According to Texans' head coach Gary Kubiak, former Clemson WR Nuk Hopkins will not play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

“We have not moved forward,” Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Thursday during a media interview.

Hopkins left a game last Saturday against Miami after receiving a head injury. He’s been on the practice field the last two days but is still at stage one of five of the NFL’s concussion protocol.

“He feels about the same. So, obviously, he is not going to play this week. He’s ruled out this week,” Kubiak said. “He’s doing better. But the process has not moved past stage one.”
