He was surrounded by friends in a place he's played a number of times. The former North Augusta High School basketball star and rising senior at Clemson was at home Tuesday, serving as an instructor at the SMS Sportsworld Basketball Camp at Riverview Park Activities Center.

Narcisse is home for the summer, at least part of it. Before he begins his final year on the hardwood with the Tigers, he's helping out with the next generation of young players from the area. It's something he wants to do, because he's not too far removed from being in the camper's sneakers.

"It adds another level. It makes it more personal, because I remember all of those days of summer camp," Narcisse said of serving as an instructor at the 3-year-old camp, which strives to improve young players' skills. "It's a trip down memory lane and it's fun to give back. ... I love giving back to the community and do what I can."
