Morris says Watson back to throwing a football |
Chad Morris talked to the Clemson media on Thursday morning and discussed various topics including an update on the rehab of freshman quarterback
Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Watson Morris said that Deshaun Watson worked out on Wednesday and threw a real football (not a nerf one). According to Morris, Watson did some good things, threw the ball well and really kind of surprised everybody with how far along he is now. The offensive coordinator said they he didn't know when he would be back and it would be up to the training staff. He applauded the job that the training staff had done in his rehab. Morris also said Watson will probably not dress out for the Wake Forest, but Watson is a player who just loves to play the game. He warned that he would not be perfect as soon as he is back in action. "But he wasn't perfect before," Morris said. "When he's healthy and ready to go we will let him go. He is ready to come back and he is excited to come back. He told me the other day he's never missed a game so this is all new to him."
