Quick notes from the football practice fields:

--Tajh Boyd said that Sammy Watkins is the most humble down to earth person he knows. Boyd just found out today about Watkins' suspension.

--Sammy Watkins said he put his whole heart into everything and he has learned from it and has moved on.

--He also said he has confidence with the team and the whole team will work hard and he will also. He will come to the meetings and practice with a smile on his face still. The coaching staff and his family are behind him and supporting him.

--He said he hurt himself, family, coaches, fans, etc. The coaches have been working him extra hard.

--Dabo said that Watkins' suspension was going to be two games at the minimum or four games at the max. Watkins responded the right way. #2 (Watkins) will be ready to play.

--Dabo said he is a great player. We are confident with the current guys we have to step up for us. The minimum of two games was what Dabo thought should have been handled.

--Dabo met with Watkins' lawyer and really was happy with Watkins' progress over the summer. He did not want to go into too many specifics.

--Dabo said that he thought he did what was best with his team and program. He said he can not care about what the media thinks or "he might be sitting up in the stands instead." Regardless of the situation, Dabo said he could not please everyone regardless.
