Matchup Set: ACC Championship Game opponent

by - Staff Writer -

North Carolina State knocked off North Carolina 28-21 Friday afternoon in Chapel Hill, and the loss by the Tar Heels clinches the ACC Coastal Division title for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The Heels had a chance at the division title but they needed to beat the Wolfpack and for the Hokies to lose to Virginia on Saturday. Instead, Virginia Tech will face Clemson in the ACC Championship Game on December 3rd at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and will be televised by ABC.

It's Virginia Tech's first trip to the ACC Championship Game since 2011 when Clemson beat the Hokies 38-10.
