Louisville is now road favorites over Clemson |
Louisville (4-0, 2-0 ACC) is now a one-point favorite for Saturday night's 8:00 pm EST battle against Clemson (4-0, 2-0 ACC) at Death Valley.
Clemson (4-0, 1-0 ACC) opened up as a three-point favorite on Sunday and the line moved to a two-point favorite for Clemson against Louisville on Sunday night. Fast forward less than 24 hours, the Tigers are now home underdogs against the Cardinals. Clemson won 26-7 against Georgia Tech on Thursday night at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Louisville rolled over Marshall 59-28 on Saturday night at Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington, West Virginia. Something will have to give in the top five contest as the Tigers are ranked #3 in total defense behind only Miami and Kansas State while Louisville is ranked #1 in total offense in the nation. Clemson is ranked #5 in scoring defense at 11 points per game, 15th in rush defense, and 3rd in pass defense. Clemson has won two close games against Louisville the last two years.
