Legend Robertin cleared by the NCAA

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson 7-0 junior college transfer Legend Robertin from London, England has been cleared by the NCAA for Wednesday's night game against South Carolina Upstate.

Robertin committed to Clemson over offers from Memphis, Tennessee, Florida State, South Carolina, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas and West Virginia.

Robertin will have three years of eligibility left.

ESPN recruiting analysis of Legend Robertin:

"a long athletic post that is mobile. He has a good motor and runs the floor well. He has good hands and feet as well. He is an above the rim finisher on the break and when he receives drop off passes created by dribble penetration. He rebounds well and blocks shots on or away from the ball. His touch is not bad and he can execute a right-handed hook over his left shoulder. Robertin plays hard with good energy and urgency as well. He will need to continue to add strength and continue to develop his back to the basketball offense in order to take his game to the next level."

Clemson will play South Carolina Upstate on Wednesday at 7 PM at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. It will be the first meeting between the two schools.
