Lawson named to the Walter Camp All-American team

Clemson junior defensive end Shaq Lawson has been named to the Walter Camp All-American team on Thursday night at the Home Depot College Football Awards show.

Lawson had 79 tackles and leads the nation in tackles for loss with 22 and has 9.5 quarterback sacks this season.

He had six tackles, including two tackles for loss and a caused fumble in Clemson’s 45-37 win over North Carolina for the ACC Championship.

Lawson was a finalist this season for the Nagurski Award, Lombardi Award and Ted Hendricks Award.
