Lawson named to ESPN ACC Helmet Sticker Award |
Clemson defensive end
Shaq Lawson
Shaq Lawson ESPN awarded Lawson an ACC Helmet sticker award for his efforts against Notre Dame. "Lawson absolutely dominated projected first-round pick Ronnie Stanley in a 24-22 win over Notre Dame, helping the Tigers establish early momentum and control the line of scrimmage for the better part of three-quarters," ESPN stated. "Lawson finished with 3.5 tackles for loss and seven total tackles in yet another eye-opening performance. Overall, Clemson had nine tackles for loss, four sacks and held running back C.J. Prosise to just 3.3 yards per carry." The other two ACC player listed as award-winners were Pittsburgh defensive end Ejuan Price and North Carolina quarterback Marquise Williams. Yeah, that's holding. Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley can't handle Shaq Lawson. pic.twitter.com/mxdA9iLH21
