Before the game, outfielder Kyle Parker was added to the Nuts roster. Parker, expected to be a key cog in Modesto's offense, has been on the disabled list since April 7 after being hit in the back of the right hand with a pitch.

Parker played in only two games and had two hits in four at-bats when he was injured.
