Korrin Wiggins narrows list to four schools

by - Senior Writer -

Former Clemson defensive back Korrin Wiggins told TigerNet Monday after that he has narrowed his transfer choices down to four schools.

Wiggins, who made the decision to transfer in late April, told TigerNet that he is down to Michigan, Oregon, ECU and Maryland.

Wiggins has one final year of eligibility remaining because of a redshirt season he took in 2015 after sustaining an ACL tear in the preseason. He graduated from Clemson in May.

Wiggins is allowed to transfer anywhere so long as the team is not South Carolina or any other team on Clemson's schedule in 2017.

Wiggins tallied 13 tackles in 194 snaps in 2016, during which he played in seven games but only started one. He had an interception in this year's spring game and leaves Clemson with 67 career tackles, four tackles for loss and four interceptions.
