Kevin Dodd won't be at NFL Draft on Friday

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd will not be attending Friday night's green room in Chicago at the Auditorium Theatre according to multiple reports.

Dodd will be back home in South Carolina to spend time with some of his closest friends and family.

Other players that were still in the green room after the first round besides Dodd were Myles Jack, Reggie Ragland, A’Shawn Robinson, Jarran Reed and Chris Jones.

Several mock drafts had Dodd going in the first round with Lawson so Dodd should hear his name soon in the second round.

Dodd had a breakout 2015 season with 62 tackles, 12 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss (second in the nation behind Lawson).
