Analysis: McDaniels has been steadily rising on draft boards all year. He's a super-athletic wing who finishes above the rim, rebounds at a high rate and is a fantastic shot-blocker. He's a bit of a "tweener" and his jump shot is inconsistent, but his athletic abilities alone are causing some NBA scouts to claim he could end up in the lottery by draft night. Sounds like he could be the Hawks' replacement for Josh SmithJosh Smith
