K.J. McDaniels injures his hip

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson standout K.J. McDaniels was 5 of 7 shooting for 12 points in only 14 minutes in a 81-93 loss against the Bucks.

McDaniels did not return to the game with a right hip injury and is scheduled to see a doctor on Saturday. "I didn't come out as soon as it happened," McDaniels told csnphilly.com. "It happened real quick. It is real painful right now. I think it is right on the bone. I will go to the doctor tomorrow and find out exactly what it is."

"I played through it, but it just got worse," he said. "Every time I came out I tried to stretch it out, but it was severe."

Update: McDaniels was able to play against the Miami Heat on Saturday. He finished the game with 8 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 3 blocks.
