According to an interview with the Orlando Sentinel, ACC commissioner John Swofford spoke about the ACC's opening weekend slate of games including Clemson's big win over Georgia.

Q: Speaking of positive openings, Clemson got a big win against Georgia. What did you think of it?

JS: “I’m really pleased for Dabo [Swinney], the team and those fans. It’s a great way to start the year. The only game in the country this past weekend with two top ten teams playing each other. JS: “I’ve always said that you have to create some opportunities and our schools are doing that. We’re playing the toughest non-conference schedule of any conference in the country. That can be good or bad. If you can win your fair share of those games, it can be really good for you.
