's Facebook page, he will be having surgery on his knee on Thursday.

Gore also suffered a knee injury in July 2011 in an offseason workout that required surgery. Gore redshirted that season.

2011: Red-shirted...moved over to the offensive line in November after recovering from injury after starting as a defensive end...enrolled in January.

Before Clemson: Rated as the #16 defensive end in the nation by player in the nation and #7 player in North Carolina by defensive end in the nation and #15 player in North Carolina by defensive end in the nation by defensive end in the nation by player in North Carolina by SuperPrep...second-team all-state by 77 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, and nine blocked kicks as a junior at East Columbus High School...conference 200m champion in track as a sophomore...coached by Travis Conner and Toby Kasell at East Columbus High...recruited by Dan Brooks.
