Jamie Harper feels NFL lockout's financial pinch

View Full Profile was taken in the fourth round by Tennessee but has not been able to cash in yet because of the NFL lockout.

Harper has been able to make ends meet with the assistance of his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The 5-foot-11, 233-pound Harper has spent his time in the offseason training in Miami, at Clemson and at Trinity Christian. When in Jacksonville, Harper stays at the Jacksonville Marriott, compliments of Rosenhaus.

"He's been great as far as helping me out," Harper said. "He's the best [agent] in my eyes. It seems like we get an update from him every two minutes about how the mediation is going. I'm very grateful for him."

Harper also says he feels like he has been in the dark due to the NFL lockout.

"You just have to stay in great shape and stay mentally prepared. I'm looking forward to starting. I'll be the first person packed and ready for Nashville."
