Jalen Williams injury update

Clemson linebacker Jalen Williams was injured early in the first quarter against Georgia Tech on Thursday night.

Williams was seen on the sidelines using crutches with ice on his right knee in the second quarter. We will have more information as soon as possible.

For the season, Williams has 11 tackles and an interception.

Update: Williams has been ruled out of the rest of the game according to Clemson officials.

Update 2: Swinney said after the game that Williams suffered an MCL injury but was told that the ACL is fine. He will undergo an MRI in the next few days. Dabo said he should be back this season.
