Injured safety Brian Dawkins inspires his Broncos teammates

At the team hotel Saturday night, Dawkins gathered the defense and gave an impassioned speech. Dawkins' words resonated, especially with the young players asked to replace him.

"It was very emotional. We knew that we had to show up for 'Dawk,' " rookie safety Quinton Carter said. "After his career, and with this injury, we wanted to give him a chance to come back and play with us."
