In-state RHP commits to Clemson

In-state right-handed senior pitcher Michael "Bo" Gobin has committed to Clemson on Thursday.

The 5'11" pitcher was named to the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Class 4A All-State team last season. Other awards included All-Region team, North/South All-Star team, Summerville HS MVP award and International Paper Classic All-Tournament team.

Gobin had a 9-1 record including four saves with a 0.68 ERA in 72 innings giving up only 35 hits, seven earned runs, 16 walks and 76 strikeouts.

He also plays some second base and shortstop as he batted .246 with ten RBIs and ten stolen bases this past season.

Summerville finished the 2015 season as the Class 4A state champions after finishing with a 27-7 record.
