ESPN had 128 current FBS head coaches vote on the best college football traditions and Clemson's Howard's Rock and running down the hill tradition garnered 10% of the total vote.

It finished third place in the vote behind the Army-Navy game (16%) and Texas A&M's 12th Man/midnight yell ceremony (11%).

101 of the 128 FBS coaches participated in the poll.
