Howard's Rock Open For Graduation Thursday

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson athletic department announced it would open its famed Howard’s Rock from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, allowing graduating seniors and their families to take pictures with the iconic stone.

“One of the best things about Clemson is the support and passion the students have for Clemson athletics,” said director of athletics Dan Radakovich. “Hopefully they can come out on a very special day in their life, having earned a degree, and capture a moment. We appreciate everything our students do for our department, and thank the seniors graduating Thursday.

"The football team posted a 26-2 record at Death Valley over the last four years, and this graduating class played a big role in creating a great home-field atmosphere each week.”

Graduation ceremonies Thursday will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. More information about graduation, including parent and faculty information, as well as the graduation schedule of ceremonies can be found on the Clemson Registrar site at
