Former Clemson standout re-signs with Turkish team

Former Clemson basketball player Sharrod Ford has re-signed with Acibadem University (Istanbul) in the Turkish Basketball Second League.

Ford averaged 17.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game last season. In 2014 for Paris-Levallois, he averaged 11.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Ford has had an excellent professional career overseas as he has played for over a decade with the following teams:

He was a four-year letterman at Clemson University from 2001-2005 who earned third-team All-ACC and honorable mention ACC All-Defensive honors his senior season, as he played in 32 games and averaged 14.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 2.1 blocks and 0.8 steals in 28.8 minutes per game. In his career with the Tigers, Ford played in 118 games and averaged 9.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 0.5 steals in 23.9 minutes per game.
