Former Clemson great joins Eagles scouting department

Former Clemson standout and NFL great Brian Dawkins has joined the Philadelphia Eagles scouting department according to team officials.

Per an Eagles press release, "Dawkins will study and work closely with all phases of the scouting and football operations departments."

Dawkins received the Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship which is a new NFL program that helps former players to get into professional scouting.

"I'm looking forward to seeing if this is something that will lead to something even bigger," Dawkins said to reporters on Saturday.

The 42-year old is an 8-time NFL Pro-Bowler and currently in the Eagles' Hall of Fame.
