"BOLT UP!!!!!!" Hairston played for current Chargers' offensive line coach Joe D'Alessandris while in Buffalo. The 26-year old offensive tackle only saw 38 total snaps in 2014 (played all 16 games as a reserve) after missing the entire 2013 season on the reserve-non-football injury list. In 2012, he was placed on IR and had subsequent surgery to remove some loose pieces of bone. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in Round 4 of the 2011 NFL Draft and was part of the 2011 draft-day trade (and LB Tank Cardner) that took star running back Marshawn Lynch from Buffalo to Seattle. Per league source OL Chris Hairston agreed to terms with the Chargers on a one-year deal, can make as much as $1.235 million.
