was added to the St. Louis Rams' practice squad on Sunday according to team officials.

Battle was waived over the weekend, but the Rams were able to keep him in the organization because he was not picked up by another team.

He was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Supplemental Draft on July 9th. He was the first player chosen in the supplemental draft since 2012 (WR Josh Gordon).

The Rams had to forfeit their team's 2016 NFL 5th round pick for selecting Battle.
