Former Clemson OF optioned to Triple A

Former Clemson outfielder Tyler Colvin was optioned to Triple A Fresno by the San Fransciso Giants on Wednesday after their 7-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

For the season, Colvin batted .223 with two home runs and 18 RBIs in 57 games(1-14 as a pinch-hitter).
