Former Clemson DB re-signs with Lions

Former Clemson defensive back Crezdon Butler has re-signed with the Detroit Lions on Friday according to team officials.

In 2015, Butler appeared in nine games and had three total tackles.

Butler has 24 career tackles and two forced fumbles while playing for seven different NFL teams including Tampa Bay, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Washington, Buffalo and Detroit.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round (#164 overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. At Clemson, he finished his collegiate career with 166 tackles, two sacks, and eleven interceptions.
