Former Clemson safety and Colts rookie T.J. Green made his NFL regular season debut with the Indianapolis Colts' 39-35 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon.

Green left the game with a sprained knee in the first half but fortunately was able to jog to the locker room without the help of the trainers. No word yet on the severity of Green's knee sprain.

He finished his junior season at Clemson with 95 tackles, 5.5 for loss, broke up three passes and forced two fumbles. He was a big reason Clemson ranked 10th in the nation in total defense in 2015. In 2014, he had 24 tackles and an interception. In three seasons at Clemson, he had 162 tackles, a sack, three pass deflections, two forced fumbles and an interception.
