FSU player challenges fans to be loud like Clemson

FSU left tackle Cam Erving wants FSU fans to get much louder for Saturday’s 8 p.m. game against No. 7 Miami.

“Any day you come in Doak Campbell, you’re going to see a lot of fans in there, there’ll be a lot of cheering,” Erving said. “But this season, it’s been different. We’ve seen the stands more consistently packed.”

“One thing I’d like to challenge our fans for, is just to be able to make it one of those hostile environments like it was back in the day. Clemson was the loudest place I’ve ever played in and I’d like to challenge our fans to be back at that type of basis one day.”
