ESPN Bowl Projections for Clemson

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson was projected in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in both of ESPN's early bowl projections with opponents Georgia and Alabama respectively.

The Tigers were ranked #10 earlier on Monday in a ESPN way-too-early Top 25 poll. Clemson should have plenty of firepower as they return 92% of their receiving yards and 81% of their rushing yards. On defense, they only have three returning starters on defense but veterans Shaq Lawson, Ben Boulware, B.J. Goodson, Jadar Johnson, Kevin Dodd, Scott Pagano, D.J. Reader and others will try to replace the lost senior leadership and production of Grady Jarrett, Vic Beasley, Stephone Anthony, Tony Steward and others.

Clemson is on a roll winning nine out of the last 10 football games and finished the season with a 40-6 rout over Oklahoma.

ESPN projections for the College Football National Championship game for the 2015 season were Ohio State vs. TCU and Auburn vs. TCU. The Capital One Orange Bowl had a projection of Ohio State vs Auburn.
