Dwayne Allen injures foot in workout

Former Clemson TE Dwayne Allen was having a great camp so far for the Indianapolis Colts.

Now, he is waiting word on the condition of one of his feet due to some soreness. As a rookie, Allen had 45 catches for 521 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Indianapolis Colts are awaiting results of medical tests on one of Dwayne Allen’s feet.

The second-year tight end complained of soreness in a foot Wednesday morning following Tuesday night’s training camp workout. Allen did not participate in the Thursday morning walk-through.

“Right now he’s going through the process of being evaluated,” coach Chuck Pagano said.

Losing Allen for any length of time would be a major blow to the Colts’ offense.
