ESPN The Magazine will release their 2016 College Football Preview issue on Friday and Clemson junior quarterback Deshaun Watson is featured as one of the four players on the cover of the August edition with running back Christian McCaffrey, running back Leonard Fournette, and quarterback Baker Mayfield.

The story on Deshaun Watson is titled 'Playing in the Shadow of Death Valley' and here is the teaser of the material.

"For quarterback Deshaun Watson and Clemson, it’s starting to feel a lot like 1981, the only time the Tigers were national champs," ESPN writes. "That team remains closely intertwined with the current squad: Sons play, former coaches watch and an alum even works in the athletic department. Can the Heisman hopeful, who single-handedly almost defeated Alabama last season in the playoff, help his team write its own championship chapter?"

Watson completed 333 of 491 passes for 4,104 yards and 35 touchdowns and also had 207 rushes for 1105 yards and 12 scores this past season. His 5,209 yards of total offense and his 47 total touchdowns were ACC records, and his rushing total was a record for a Clemson quarterback.

His 487 yards of total offense set a record for a National Championship game, and he is the first quarterback in FBS history to have at least 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season.
