Deshaun Watson injury update |
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney gave a quick update on quarterback
Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Watson "He was in a green jersey [in practice] last night and was able to do what we needed him to do last night," Swinney said. "We're going to ramp it up more today. Today will be a much more telling day. That's still kind of where we are right now." Swinney said in his weekly press conference that Watson has a new knee brace that seems to be working well. Swinney also said that as of right now Cole Stoudt is getting all the first team reps but that is something they will evaluate as they go through the week and see what Watson can do. Watson missed three games at midseason due to a broken hand and came back for Georgia Tech and sustained a knee injury in the first quarter against the Yellow Jackets. He is currently listed as questionable for South Carolina.
