Deshaun Watson gets invite to Senior Bowl

Clemson star quarterback Deshaun Watson is working on his team's final details for the upcoming College Football National Championship game on Monday night.

Regardless if he wins against Alabama or not, Watson has been invited to the prestigious 2017 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Since Watson has already graduated from Clemson, he is invited to participate in the event. This is yet another chance for Watson to showcase his skills for NFL scouts and coaches.

He has not accepted or declined the invitation but would be on the South team and coached by Browns head coach Hue Jackson and the Browns' offensive staff.

In 2016, Watson has completed 353 passes out of 523 attempts for 4173 yards with 38 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. Watson completed 333 of 491 passes for 4,104 yards and 35 touchdowns and also had 207 rushes for 1105 yards and 12 scores in 2015. His 5,209 yards of total offense and his 47 total touchdowns were ACC records, and his rushing total was a record for a Clemson quarterback.

His 487 yards of total offense set a record for a National Championship game and was the first quarterback in FBS history to have at least 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. For his career, he has 9743 passing yards with 87 touchdowns and 32 interceptions.
