DeAngelo Hall gets embarrassed on TV, calls out Hopkins on Twitter |
HBO's 'Hard Knocks' premiered on Tuesday night and featured the Houston Texans and former Clemson standout Nuk Hopkins.
During an intrasquad scrimmage, Washington Redskins' veteran cornerback DeAngelo Hall was trashing talking Hopkins even when Hall was on the sidelines not participating. Hopkins got the last laugh and revenge as he juked him to the ground on a double move comeback route when matched up together. Epic fail on Hall's behalf for not backing up his trash-talking and almost breaking his own ankles in the process. Hall talked about the play after Thursday's practice. "The receiver was running the route, had a real good break on it and I went to break on it and just got outside the framework of my body and just kind of slipped a little bit." Hall called out Hopkins on Twitter today saying that the play against him in practice was Hopkins greatest career highlight in the NFL. When the highlight of your career is catching a 10yd pass on a DB while he slips and you feel like you did something. #SadDayInFootball Hopkins responded simply via Twitter on Thursday that he hoped Hall's treatment was going well. Hope treatment going well. https://t.co/9wR4UrjEAP
